Security Tried To Detain DJ Audits Unlawfully (DJI Mini 2) With The Dread Drone

Today #DJAudits and myself paid a visit to the JCB Engine Manufacturing Facility, and security were really keen.

As soon as I started to approach they were out of their hut and after me, and tried to keep DJ until the police came. Or that's what I was told.

Even if they don't have a licence you still can't stop them flying a drone. It's a bit concerning that they thought that they could hold someone against their will. Could your company please inform them they don't have the powers to detain the public.

I thought the security guard in the hi viz jacket was quite pleasant and respectful to you. Yes, he wanted you to leave but he wasn't unpleasant or rude about it.
