The one pictured is the second version of 259R, the first version, which I had many years ago, had only 3 Cancel Tabs (drawbars, poly, mono), you could use only one of the 5 poly sounds at a time and they were arranged differently (brass, piano, harpsichord, honky tonk, strings). The second version had 4 cancel tabs and you could mix together piano-harpsi-honky with brass or strings. Later, it came out a third version with a different rythm unit with chord memory function replacing Superpartner.

In Australia it was called a " Marlborough" 6290 (R25) with the 25note p/board. Without doubt the brightest realistic brass of any organ I know of. Superior in fact to the brass on the Pergamon which came some years after. However, the Pergamon does have the best vocal choir I've ever heard.

Genauso eine Maharani hatte ich mal, obwohl ich eigentlich ein Kirchen-Organist bin, habe ich diese Klänge geliebt.

Beside the all too obvious real life rhythm section the brass actually sounds too good to be true on this one. I am quite sure I hear doubling with real instruments. If I am wrong this thing sounded mighty good for the time in which it was built.

I greatly doubt that this is a Farfisa 259R. Even more, I doubt it's a Farfisa.
