Second goal when he shot it George John was offside and he was right in front of the goal. And there was an fc Dallas player offside on that free kick which led to Perez's goal.

The 3rd goal by FC Dallas was not offsides since it was a shot from Perez not a pass. Therefore the players that were offsides were not part of that shot since they did not touch the ball as it was going in

How can people claim that Dallas goals were so good when 2 of 3 are clearly offside and shouldn't have counted in the first place. 3-1 LA. I watched the game and even the commentators were saying 2 of those goals shouldn't have counted. LA's defense did their job. Play the offsides trap the AR just blew it. Not once but twice! Great job LD of hat trick.

Only one goal was from offside, for the second one it can easily be argued that another player in the exact area was on-sides and could have played it had the LAG defender not headed it out.

You can still interfere with play without touching the ball. If you're standing in front of the keeper and blocking his view in an offside position then you are offside, whether you touch the ball or not.

a player does not have to touch the ball to be offside. If a player is in an offside position and is effecting the play but does not touch the ball it is still offside, and that obviously effected the play

the players right in front of the keeper when Blas Perez took the shot were offside when it was taken so therefore they were part of the play and it should not have been a goal
