The Four-Evers was a Brooklyn, NY city doo wop group of the 1960s. Their biggest hit was "Be My Girl" in 1964, written by Bob Gaudio of the 4 Seasons and arranged by Charles Calello, the 4 Seasons musical arranger. Their sound was uncanny in how they imitated the "sound" of the 4 Seasons so well. Many people at the time thought that this recording was, in fact, a 4 Seasons record.

This is a digitally extracted stereo version of a mono recording.

Great song written by Bob Gaudio of the ever so talented band known as the Four Seasons, and why didn’t the Four Seasons sing and release this one?
