Do not buy Acer ConceptD 7 Pro CN715-71P

This is a non-biased review of the Acer Cocept D7 Laptop.

I think the processor (9th generation intel i7-9750H) let's this laptop down, there is so much potential, but unfortunatelt, the CPU is not a good match for the graphics card. I think an i9 processor would have been much better, perhaps any of these:

Also, I have a feeling this is NOT an UHD 4K screen, as the resolution is very average. It is dim and not bright nor vivid.

The things I really liked were, the design language, LED keyboard lights, and the white colour finish. It is really nicely built and great to work on if it was slightly more capable. In my humble opinion, Not worth it's price.

I'm using it for over 2 years on a daily basis and I have to say, it's a great laptop for me!
The white alloy is VERY scratch resistent, the resolution is awesome and man, it has power! (played Cyberpunk on it in 4k)
Why I put it over the DELL and ASUS was the keyboard and creative, flawless design. I'm very fast at typing and the DELL caused some ghosting and felt a bit smushy.
Only flaws: The battery began running low very fast after one year of use, the display could get brighter and I have two pixel errors at the bottom (one dead, one red - which is okay by 4k resolution, but annoying on a content creator notebook). The colors are awesome btw. Most of the time it is very silent.

I use it for video cutting/editing, photo editing, etc (Adobe), programming (JetBrains), writing (Papyrus) and a bit of gaming (Cyberpunk, Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2).

its 1 year now since I bought my 7D Pro and I have to say I am very satisfied with mine... it is extremely fast, I do a lot of renderings in Blender, Premiere Pro, Unreal, D5Render and so on and this thing does not lack in performance.. at that time I spent 3700€ not dollars!! and it was still the cheapest with the RTX 5000 ...would I buy it again? probably yes, bcs of lightweight, compact design.. I don't care about the screen (i didn't have any problem with it either) since I use an external Monitor (Samsung 34" 21:9) all the time

If you ask me, I’d buy this laptop because it has 32gb of RAM and it has the cool design that makes it feel like you’re using a combo of the iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and Zugu Alpha Case. However, I’ll probably wait until they have more powerful options, because 3D software(like Blender) runs better with more power.

Congrats on your new laptop Mario.
4K is barely noticeable on small screens/laptops, you were right FHD is better for a laptop.
Regarding the low utilization, the bottleneck could be from the software you use, not the hardware.
And finally, I suggest you get a refund and save some money by building your own customized PC/Desktop which will be much cheaper and will give you better performance. For mobile editing, while travelling, you already have your OMEN.

Isn't having a Quadro card going to be slower than having a Geforce card as well?

I'm no expect, but from what I understand, Quadro cards are built for quality over speed as they are used for 3D jobs and render farms, where as Geforce cards are for all purporse tasks and gaming so speed over quality.

Lol, its a RTX 5000 Max Q. Max Q are slower than the none Max Q variants. This guy: " is not 4K". It is 4K LOl. If you dont have a use for 4k, don't buy a 4K. 4K is for working professionals that need screen state. Meaning the Graphical interfaces on applications is smaller which gives you more screen state for active windows. Also the Display color gamut is better than other 4ks, so you are paying a premium. This reviewer doesn't know what he is reviewing. If you are not doing work that requires accurate color reproduction, dont get a workstation laptop and get a gaming laptop for cheaper, You have to know the components you need to justify premium laptops

You're using Videopad software and expect peak performance? ... If you spend that much money on a laptop you should use a software that fully supports your graphics card/ multithreaded cpus, otherwise you'll be working with a huge bottleneck and will not benefit from the full potential of that laptop.
Install Adobe premiere and you'll see the difference.. and make sure you configure the processing and memory allocation to each core/thread in premiere.
You should also understand that Mobile CPU's and Graphics aren't equal to desktop versions of the same CPU/graphics line, the reason for this is that they are designed to dissipate much less heat because of tiny cooling fan/heat-sink and this will reflect in their lower performance compared to desktop computer.
You should have made some research before spending that much cash on a laptop.... It would have been much better to buy a fast processor Laptop for 1500 pounds for daily usage and a desktop pc for content creation with at least 3 times the performance you get from this acer laptop.
As for the 4k screen I hope you have configured your graphics correctly and update the drivers from Acer website otherwise windows would just use a generic driver and you wouldn't get the correct resolution.
Download and install All the sound/graphics/chipset....etc drivers from Acer website otherwise your laptop will not perform to its full potential.
