One if the best movies of the silent era.

Amazing movie. 2024 version does it justice and takes it to a whole new level. Both incredible works of art

Finally watched it for the first time! It’s so creepy!!! Super unsettling, the low quality old cameras, the lingering thought knowing that everyone in the movie is gone. It’s absolutely incredible

I was a kid, on summer holiday in Paris, after graduating from college.wandering around on the Left Bank near the Sorbonne. A door was opened onto the street - it was the entryway to the Sorbonne (student) cinema. I saw a poster for Nosferatu - the original - and went in. It's a silent, black and white. I had read "Dracula" but had no idea what this film would be like. I sat in the front row, dozens of students all around me. As the film proceeded, you could hear a pin drop. I was mesmerized, and, frankly, scared out of my mind. I will never forget that dreadful monster played by Max Shrek. S.W. Murnau was a genius.

This movie, although 100 years old, still gives me the frights, and it's one of my favorites especially during Halloween season 🦇

I cannot imagine how audiences felt seeing this picture in 1922

I actually came across this on prime last weekend! I've seen pics of the infamous vampire, Nosferatu. But never knew much about this movie at all. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to take it seriously, and expected to be bored out of my mind pretty quickly. Couldn't have been further from reality! It was SO GOOD! I highly suggest giving it a try!

Nosferatu m'a personnellement marqué et reste un des films qui réussi encore à me foutre les jetons ! F W Murnau était un pur génie et restera comme l'un plus grands réalisateurs allemands avec Fritz Lang.

Best vampire until Bill Skarsgård, at least.
