Thanks for the video. It's cool to see the comparison of the two, and kind of a testament to the strengths of the OP-1 that it could even be compared to a device that's twice as expensive as it, as well as much closer to what you'd call "studio" hardware.

Just a tip, u can actually get a pretty full drumbeat on only one track on the A4, by using the soundpool and having different sounds per step on the same track.

Disagree the A4 is portable and can do it all. BUT personally rather have Octatrack plus Digitakt since I already have synths and need to sample and manage them. But OP-1 looks cool for a travel synth. The A4 does WAY more than the OP-1.

I'm really interested in buying an A4 because of its amazing sequencer and synth engine, and as an all-in-one groovebox but I'm afraid of not having enough channels to make a sound. Do you know a groovebox like the A4 but sufficient to make an entire track ? In the idea of an "A8"

Hey Hi hello, what I’d be really interested in hearing is your thoughts comparing the analog rytm MK2 to the op-1? I have to admit I’m often confused by the limitations of the elektron gear, or rather I get confused when trying to keep track of the differences between all their products. Basically i have an op-1 and am wondering which elektron piece would best complement it, the octatrack, the digitakt, or maybe analog rythm? I’d love to hear your opinion, Thank you’s! hi there like your comparison video i am a subscriber want to ask u if the teenage pocket synths in which i've seen male and female producers use are similar to the op-1? i ask this because i've been using reason daw for a while now i was thinking about going dawless i've had midi controllers/pad but never even touched an mpc etc.

nice videos got a new subscriber! i own a op-1 and i love it! limitations makes you go more creative, it is the most expensive piece of gear in my hobbist setup. Would love to own an elektron machine, but they are expensive and learning curve i've read and heard is complicated.
