You know what I appreciate most about this guy? He doesn’t spend a quarter of the entire video explaining what he’s doing. No history of tree pruning, benefits of tree pruning, joy of tree pruning, no anecdotes about trees he has pruned in the past. It’s just, we’re going to test tree pruning saws today and then he gets right to it. I don’t know why that’s so hard for so many people.

I spent a whole weekend watching saw reviews last year before choosing the Corona to take hiking with me. You've condensed a *ton* of research into 15 minutes, and you've provided a fantastic resource to all kinds of outdoors people. Fantastic work, and thank you!

I inherited a Japanese folding saw with a wooden handle and a locking blade. My mother purchased it when we lived in Japan. We moved to the states in 1967! Still sharp as hell!

As a Hiker/ woodsman/ back packer i really appreciate this video and for us outdoor people i personally would love to see a HATCHET show down! There's a lot of hatchets with a wide variety of price and would love to see how they would perform and what test you could put them through! Thanks as always!!

How is it that every one of your videos is a home run? There is never a video that I fast forward or skip watching. You, my friend, are brilliant.

I randomly bought a pair of Corona 10" saws a few years ago to keep in trucks for exploring, and always thought they were surprisingly effective on branches and small trees. Thanks to you I now see why!

I’ve had a corona handsaw that I bought back in 2010. It’s used regularly and still holds up great. When I started this video I knew it was going to win over the more expensive options.

I have been using the Corona for a couple years now. Bought it as a value brand and it has definitely been a workhorse in my tool shed

Good to know that Corona is still putting out quality products. It’s a brand I’ve used for 30 years

Awesome tests as usual! I don't think any big company would have the patience or care to set up a test rig like that, let alone take the time to do over 200 strokes on one saw. Thank you for your dedication, sir. I tip my hat to you. 🎩

You can't imagine how happy this test was for me. I bought a Corona about 10 years ago and still use it.
I love it!
Silky has been promoted on so many outdoor videos that I thought I was missing out.
WRONG!
This video has vindicated my purchase!
Thank you, Todd!
I tell everyone about your channel because it is the BEST!

The Fujiwara is already out of stock and it’s been eight hours at the time of this post since this video came out. Again, anything you recommend one needs to get right away if you want it. That’s how much of an impact you have.great job!

By far my favorite channel these days for tools and I love the way that you don't take money and you're actually very scientific about it

I have the Corona saw. I have been using it for pruning for the last 5 years and it's still cutting just fine. I've even cut down an oak tree that was around 4 inches in diameter with it. It went through it with no problems.

Eye opening review. I was surprised to see that some of the less expensive brands like Corona, Samurai, and Gruntek beat out the Silky and Bacho which are about twice as expensive. I should have watched this before I bought my two Silky saws. Thank you Project Farm!!!

I bought the corona in September, and used it for everything, it really works well, and I have abused it keeping it in my truck bed and even using it to cut some scrap wood to fit in a trash bin and it's still awesome! Btw Popular Mechanics recommended it too.

I recently bought a Corona at Lowes and I've processed two Christmas trees for firewood next winter. The curved blade really helps dig into the wood on the pull. It's affordable and overall works great. I believe it's well worth the money and should last long time. Good to see how well it stacks up in this video.

I love how the boxes all brag, but you show us which ones really got the rights. Another awesome test, and this time I guessed right, that the Japan made blades would outperform the rest. They have that whole blade thing mastered by now, I'd bet.
Thanks again, Todd, for an awesome test with such a clear result. I'd imagine this test will certainly save folks a bit of money, but a lot of time and effort.
