This song actually really helped be understand Lucas better. Like, the things he experienced during the war were frightening but the loneliness is what really seems to effect him, both from missing the people he spent so much time alongside and the fact that nobody believes him about the things he says he saw during the war. His association with radios makes a lot of sense when it comes to this as well. Not just the fact that he was a radioman but even after the war his tinkering with radios and stuff. Plus the fact that the Flash is quite literally a radio tower with a sniper, which makes sense since he learned to use a sniper from his buddies during the war.

"They won't be back by popular demand" Is such a good line!
It can either mean they wont come back no matter how much you want them to, referencing the friends Lucas lost in the war. But it could also mean that the popular demand is that they wont come back, referencing how Lucas feels ostracized by everyone he's tried to talk about his experiences to.

You know, I was listening to this in-game, and something came to my mind:
0:50 "And the drummer plays a beat too long" could possibly refer to the sound a gun does, which I personally think because of the song saying that the song starts to fall appart due to it, and it soon says that "by show of hands, the group disbands, and they won't be back by popular demand" would mean that they all died, thus "deciding" to disband the group because most (literally everyone but Lucas) members literally cannot decide to continuing being part of the band
This would go along with one of the first things you see in his cabin is words saying something like "all my friends are dead" written on the walls if you see with the mirror piece
Edit: Found a little drum on Lucas' cabin, which pretty much confirms he's the drummer he's talking about

Still a bit confused by Lucas' voice. Everyone says he's an old soldier, but sounds super young.
Other than that, he's such a lovable character. He's been through way more than all the rest but still carries on living and believing in himself even though no one else does.

After unlocking the disc and replaying the forest level I found that when you turn on the radio when your trapped in the cabin the song that plays is a heavy metal version of this song

After a month of listening to this, I finally interpreted what "And the drummer plays a beat too long and the whole damn song starts to fall apart; by show of hands the whole group disbands, and they won't be back by popular demand". Basically the moment your mental health drops it's a total spiral into insanity, until it breaks apart and can never be put back together.

God it's been who knows? Maybe 8 months since I've found this game, it's honestly one of the best games I've ever had the chance see. I really wished this game got more recognition, but for now, I think I can rest easy that it at least exists, and people love it

I would have never liked a song like this before. "Is it me?" Appeals to me the most, I'm trying to beat that part of the game these pieces were made for as a matter of fact. I'm enjoying the game so far, just find it challenging in the action spots. I discovered "The Living Tombstone" before I discovered the game. You guys are awesome for sharing your music freely on Youtube after the games release. That said, the game is great. I love the puzzles, and the art, and the story as it unfolds. This song is about Lucas, patient and friend of Desmond (Main Character), war veteran who has PTSD after losing all his hope and his friends in the war but he have to be involve with Desmond, the main cause of this game story.

Having recently been told that a good friend of mine passed away suddenly, this song, which I already considered heartbreaking when I played the game, hits extra hard right now. But listening to it with that in mind is very cathartic. So thank you for putting to music some of the thoughts I am having right now.
