The audience who asked the question is clearly misinformed, because the Supreme Court DID NOT REFUSE any queer rights, in fact they acknowledged it and said it was the doman of the parliament to make the law, and sent off with a blessing, directions for the government to settle queer marriage rights. The audience is wrong. It is the misfortune of the queer community in India who only consume leftist and woke news where everything is tampered. In their minds, the Supreme Court which twice stood with the queer community and supported them, is anti-queer, but Rahul Gandhi who make very vague and weak, obviously pre-rehearsed statements like this, when they don't even mean it, is supporting queers.
