locating the funny

The mistake they made here was in their haste to locate the funny, they used their active sonar, which while faster at finding targets when compared to passive sonar, it also lights you up like a Christmas tree on everyone else's sonar boards which give the funny an upper hand for their attack

*The “No Funny” Incident* (i made a few alterations to the video story)

On the 31st of August, 2022, 157 nautical miles off the coast of Los Angeles, a group of amphibious assault ships, destroyers, cruisers and submarines were participating in a combat drill. A submarine was the lead amphibious vehicle in the group. They conducted a search for any funny around the group, but to their surprise, no funny was actually detected. Beforehand, another group was tasked with placing funnies around the area, but no funny was ever found. The group immediately contacted Central Command.

Drill Group: “CENTCOM, ya’ll forgot to put the funnies.”

CENTCOM: “We did, increase your search range.”

Drill Group: “CENTCOM, range is maxed out.”

CENTCOM: “That’s weird, maybe we actually forgot.”

A radar beep is heard, several clowns are detected in the radar, in firing range.

Drill Group: “Uh oh.”

A loud explosion is now heard as the radio comms cut off with the lead submarine.

CENTCOM tries to establish contact with the rest of the drill group. They manage to establish communications with the group, but one by one, more explosions are heard and the group is assumed to be destroyed.

CENTCOM immediately replies with sending multiple assault ships, destroyers and cruisers to combat whatever killed off the group.

After a 1 hour travel or so at full speed, the counterattack group, establishes contact with the clowns.

CA Group: “You’re all dead, bitches.”

Immediately after the message, the entire group begins salvo firing on the clowns, heavily damaging their fleet.

2-4 ships are sunk, while the remaining ships turn back.
