One thing I find is that long from videos are generally more watched by subscribers, however shorts generally pop up naturally so you may get more views off them. From my unprofessional advice I would try and stick to a variety of long form (since I like them more) and shorts (that’s what will - hopefully - gain you more traction).

This advice is really not backed by science, just what I find from my YouTube watching experience so hope it is helpful
