Continuation of Al-Adab Al-Mufrad Seminar, The Straight Path Convention returns with the weekend course with Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem to study one of Imam Al-Bukhari’s major book of Hadith, Al-Adab Al-Mufrad, which compiles the Prophetic guidance from the Sunnah with regards to perfecting one’s character and to strive towards attaining a high moral standard as required in Islam.

0:18 Hadith 1108 When we have 2 things in Islam that go against each other we should follow some steps
1. We try to reconcile between them. We try to apply both evidence without neglecting one another.
2. If we are unable to reconcile one we check if one abrogates the other. 
3. If the above two steps are not unable to apply we check which one is more authentic and can dismiss the hadith follow the Quran.
4. If nothing works one can't say if the other is weaker than the other in this case one should not comment and clearly say we don't know and leave it to the scholars.

27:11 The Prophet said "Whoever wears a garment of fame in this duniya Allah would make him wear garment of humility on the day of Judgement".  Garment of fame means when people do certain things to get noticed by others. The Prophet said this is something that would take a person to hell.

Always try to have a return ticket and avoid the extreme.
