Moral Responsibility: Harry Frankfurt on the Principle of Alternative Possibilities Part 1

Показать описание
Frankfurt argues that the Principle of Alternate [Alternative] Possibilities (PAP) is false due to a counterexample to the principle. The PAP states, "A person is morally responsible for what he has done only if he could have done otherwise." Frankfurt describes a scenario where it appears someone is morally responsible, but had no alternatives, and concludes that the PAP is false.
