I own one of these Tokai models in exactly the same colour. I had my local Tokai dealer retro fit a varitone switch. It’s easily my favourite guitar.

I just bought a Tokai UES180-PB, i saw it in that magnificent Pelham Blue and knew, I want an ES type guitar, it has to be THIS one. Damn I love that guitar. Just beautiful

Love the fantastic rockabilly sound Glauco. I would love to hear your band doing some of this. I stumbled upon a performance years back at an outdoor hot rod show in Ventura CA. It was band with Albert Lee and another older astonishing rockabilly artists who I was not familiar with. They absolutely killed it that day. The people in the crowd were actually dumfounded by their virtuosity in this genre; not expecting it !

In my experience you have to play a good few Gibson 335s to find one as good as the Tokai. The Gibsons vary a lot - and a lot of them are heavy and sound shrill. The Tokais are almost all good - incredibly consistent. And as a bonus they're cheaper too.
