I couldn't agree with you more about the feeding. I fished a water last week and specifically chose not to loose feed much and we battered them all day. Across the water a guy was throwing in buckets of sweetcorn (seriously) and low and behold he never caught much. Needle in a haystack!

It's hard for me to understand what you're talking about, but it's definitely useful information. I'm sorry that I do not know much English. :( I want to try a flat method feeder.

tom: i will add the question to the list but in short the answer will depend on a few factors, the size of fish you are after, how snaggy the venue is and finally how heavy the feeder you are using remembering the line need sot be strong enough for the weight of the feeder and also be able to take the abrasion from a running feeder on the line.
