Point Cloud to Factory 3D BIM Model in ArchiCAD

In this project, we have created the interior and exterior 3D model of the factory from the registered point cloud.
This project is based on a lot of data. We received 981 scans for the order execution. Based on our many years of experience, 80% of the point cloud data contains errors, as bigger the project, as higher the chances of point cloud errors.
Through our specially developed workflow to ensure the required accuracy, we’d corrected and fixed point cloud errors before we started the modeling process.
