Complete with amazing mountain views of Nantahala National Forest and Gorges State Park, this huge 1,700sqft A-frame cabin comes with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and over 1,000 sqft of deck space.

The cabin is newly renovated with a mid-century design focus, which includes features such as spa-like tile showers and a fully equipped kitchen.

Wanted to drop a comment here and say thank you for the glowing review and pointing out some of the unique architecture and design elements of this home. My mother Trilby Wallace was the engineer who took a simple A-frame blue print and designed this home then had it built in 1993. I spent 27 years going to that property, and parting with it was hard. I love the new owners and I’m happy many people will now get to experience the magic on the mountain. As a side note, all of those outside stairs leading up and down the hill along the East/Southeast she designed and built by hand in her mid 70’s. I notice some of my mother Trilby and father, Lew Wallace’s original art still hanging in the home as well. Definitely pulled at my heart. Thanks once again.

I like how everything is like hidden...go three steps up.. living room with outdoor space.. go down find bedrooms.. go to the too find reading area.. i always wanted to have a house based on that schem... so in the living room get up to a pc room with bed... and so on...

The inverted layout of this cool cabin/cottage is quite similar to that used in many beach houses! Having bedrooms and full baths downstairs and the main common living spaces upstairs is great for those places with grand views.

Fantastic aerial views. Absolutely love the outdoor appeal to this place. The space is perfect for a big family or family reunion. Wish they’d spent more time on the interior decor but it’s not bad at all. Just not as delicious looking as I thought it’d be haha! Who cares though because I would be living out on those decks.
