Ego... but saying "they hate" is way too much. They're nervous ;)
This is interesting because Sigma has a sense of style / dresses well / is rather athletic, so in appearance he may resemble an Alpha male, but in many respects he is a "different head" (Alpha next to Sigma thinks like a mentally disabled person ;) But Sigma has many Alpha features, that's why he grew up with them and "fits best" with them, and that's why he is friends with Alfas. You could say he's the smartest Alpha with a good heart, but still a bit of an Alpha.
And these women pay attention to such things (only with Sigma the intentions are different - it's not vanity, like with these women)
It's only "similar", not "same"(external effect).
