many people has a lot to say on why do I’ve an iPad and mac when I don’t even need it cuz that’s what I’ve said in the video.
I get it you’re right, I completely understand that I come from a privileged background and I’m very much aware of it. But at the same time what I’m trying to say is for the people who cannot afford it, that it’s not a necessity to survive medical college. If you can buy it, of course it has many great tools to help u out with.
And about the mac, I said for study purposes, I don’t need it much but for editing I use it so that’s why I’ve it.

When i was a MBBS Studeny in 2012 i studied with books. Even with my pg in 2020 Obs-gynae exams i studied with standard books and my handwritten notes and passed my MS exam with flying colors. Message for younger generation- BOOKS ARE AMAZING AND THE SMELL OF BOOKS IS NOSTALGIC. You will have photo memories of pages of book too. ❤❤

iPads are great and useful if you can avoid the distractions.
The combined cost of books over the duration of MBBS comes out to be nearly 45-55k, a used iPad with a apple pencil that is in good condition still, you can get those two combined for about 20-25k. And new for about 45k, so basically it's easier to carry but hard to not get distracted with

In my colony, a boy cracked neet and got into GMC Nagpur. He didn't have the proper money to buy these so called useful gadgets. He just reply on pen paper and some color pens. Believe me his notes and the second brain he developed on paper is enough as a notes for a mbbs students. Even got selected as researcher at American heart association with those limited resources. These are just hyped things which make you think that you won't have enough things to ace what you want to achieve..

iPad is great .. you can read as one would on kindle, take down notes and not waste paper; type documents if you would just buy an extra compatible keyboard .. all in all it is a powerful tool

As someone who's gonna pursue medical and has an ipad, i bought it cuz i love drawing, i binge on it and i draw, i edit and what not, on my laptop i binge and study, watch documentaries and study computer science
So ig i need both of em cuz ipad cannot do the work of a mac and mac cannot do the work of an ipad (i have apple pencil too)❤

Im talking to the people who are middle class like me whose parents work hard to meet their ends, people, you can buy ipad if u dont want to carry around whole books, plus books can be downloaded from online and you can study fron there if u want ipad for reading books and highlighting sentences and just for sticky notes just buy a low budget ipad and a local pen for the ipad. And also about the macbooks do not buy if u really don want them, u can watch movie in your phone or (plus its med schooll you should be studying 😅) anyway if u have a low budget high storsge lap its all u need for taking notes and reading, you can use one note for all purpose .. writing with pen and pencil in book is the best method to study other than everything … im just telling this for people like me . 😊😊

As a design student, my iPad Pro is everything, all my design work is on it and note making too. Usually use my laptop, a Zephyrus g16 for gaming and heavy editing. The iPad really helps for designing stuff a lot.

So many salty people in the comments getting upset over what type of gadgets one uses. Like what does it matter if she's using an iPad or a Mac. First, she pinned a comment mentioning she comes from a privileged family so obviously she's not going out of her way to get these things, and she even admits that you do not NEED these things to progress in medical field. Second, please stop this hate towards people who have things that you don't.
The girl is a medical student. Let's be positive and support her, which can contribute towards her success in the field, which would in turn contribute towards good health of our people.
FYI - If you're smart enough, you can figure out how to use any device for your benefit.

I kinda agree.. it's either or between the macbook and ipad. You surely don't need both. Though I'm not a med guy, I feel using my laptop daily has made my ipad redundant. So between the two it boils down to your personal preference but yes you don't need both.

Good message. Nowehre near as smart as you guys, I did biotech but I’ve always felt like studying on a laptop tires my eyes out. I use a combination of watching videos on the MacBook and drawing diagrams on paper. Drawing is great. Problems was my school had no textbooks, only PowerPoints. Bottom line you need a good device that can handle your school emails and help you print the stupid forms and PowerPoints when needed.
