Putin is really looking forward to Trump’s victory in the elections, then Putin’s position in the world will be significantly strengthened. Already Trump helps Putin in Congress through the Republican Party, trying to stop aid to Ukraine, thereby ensuring a Russian victory.

And regarding the cheers when he crows “drill, drill, drill”, it is sad that people have no understanding of how the oil market works and how oil companies set their prices. It’s a world market not a market driven only by what happens within our borders.

Why is everybody going nuts when he said drill drill drill, nobody there is smart enough to know that in 2023 the oil production in the US was more than it ever has been, and in March of 2020 we finally stopped importing oil from Russia, first time in over 30 years.
