Converting iTunes music to mp3 files - EASY

This video explains how to convert the music files, which you downloaded through the iTunes stores into common MP3 files.
It is not obvious, but it is possible to do this in the iTunes application itself. With just a very easy change in the preferences, any music file can be converted into an MP3 file.

Absolutely fantastic! Thank you for this! I am not overly tech savvy. This was easy for me to follow and quickly solved my dilemma. Thanks for this - I am from July 2022 and this still works. I am taking all of MY PURCHASED MUSIC and saving it to MP3. Then I am going to play it with YouTube music and throwing iTunes in the trash where it belongs.
