PORSCHE DRAG WAR !!! 2021 PORSCHE 992 TURBO S vs 991 TURBO S - Which is FASTER ?
Drag Race between a 2021 Porsche 992 Turbo S and a 2018 Porsche 991.2 Turbo S. The new 992 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8 Liter Twin Turbo Flat 6 which is rated at 640 horsepower and 590 lb/ft of torque when stock. The new Turbo S has a 8 speed PDK dual clutch transmission which replaced the 7 speed PDK in the 991 Turbo S. In addition, when stock, the 992 Turbo S has a 60 horsepower advantage over the 991.2 Turbo S as it as bigger turbos, more efficient intercoolers and an improved fuel system.
The 2018 Porsche 991 Generation 2 Turbo S was driven by our test driver and is powered 3.8 Liter Twin Turbo Flat 6. The 991.2 Turbo is rated at 580 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque when stock.
Both Porsches are Tuned and have exhaust modifications. The 992 was tuned by DME and the 991 Turbo was tuned by Champion Motorsports.The 991 is also wearing DOT Toyo R888R tires.
