But, besides an exercise in flexibility, the Mawashi Geri is with the benefit of an hip rotation. I am of the belief that the way we train determines the results of that training. I would not want my muscle memory to record aesthetic movements lest they manifest themselves at the most in opportune moment.

Bro it may be an ultimate drill for you but there are some errors. If you want to drill yourself do mae geri (3x - -between the legs, lower abdomen and chin), follow that with a fuma komi (stomping kick to the opponent behind) you's foot bridge, mawashi geri, yoko geri, ushiro geri then gyaku uraken to the front, sanbon zuki ( nr 3 is an ura zuki), uraken, kamae and step forward.
