AWS reInvent 2019: Using ML to Help Customers Manage Chronic Conditions (STP06)

Livongo’s Applied Health Signals platform offers Livongo’s customers clinically based insights that make it easier to stay healthy and drive behavioral change. By using complex machine learning models built on the AWS stack, the company provides a mobile experience, coaching, and medication support for managing a wide range of chronic conditions, including diabetes and hypertension, and for achieving weight loss. In this talk, Livongo’s chief data scientist, Anmol Madan, explains how the company uses AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon EC2, and Amazon S3 to securely process hundreds of millions of data points and efficiently experiment, optimize, deploy, and track the performance of its ML models.
