The black "feet " are actually for the Black and Decker tables. They go in the holes on the table and are used to hold things in place they do sell replacements so you maybe able to get something for them

The computer is a Microbee computer from the 80’s. Happy to buy from you !

Looks like the guts of a TRS-80. A Radio Shack computer that was based on the Z-80 processor. I did a lot of experiments on such systems as well as the original Apple IIe which was based on the 6502 processor. I've still got some of those same chips hanging around here as "museum pieces".

I think that extra blue plastic part with the planer is to set the blades when you change them. The other guard is for rebates.

What a great combination, tools and e-Waste !! I was thinking you might have fixed those other tools, probably work well. 👍

Looks like a Makita 1000SB planer, these miniature versions go for decent money. You don't see them around often either. I would hold onto it, they are easier to handle than the bigger versions.

I think that Kango is a rotary hammer. I used to sell them. Well-made kit.

One of the chips is a zilog Z80 which is a 8bit microprocessor

I have a similar set to the black and decker you have. Mines a skil set in a cabinet :)

The keyboard layout is interesting - neither US nor UK - but more UK than US. The @' key (above top left of the right hand shift key) looks like it's on upside down. The fact that it's got a separate Line Feed and Return key suggests it might use paper rather than a screen (perhaps an electric typewriter?)

I knew someone in 1983 who was building their own computer. I think it involved adding the components to a board. Maybe this is what that is? I wonder if it was a "popular mechanic" type magazine that provided the instructions?

The date code on the four chips in foam are 1984. That seems kind of late to be a u-brew computer. The Zilog Z80 is a microprocessor though which was used in a number of computers including the TRS-80 as well as some gaming systems like the Colecovision. Mysterious machine.

The best unit in the box is the heavy grey saw its an expense brand hence the solid aluminium guard would have cost 4 times any black and decker at the time.

The computer, my guess would've been a Dick Smith model or similar Aussie type computer, they use the same keyboard type. I see you figured it out as a Microbee though, the dark space key is a signature of them.

"Very old computer" - I'm triggered :-)

NOOOO. That teal colored. piece is the attachment to hold the saw blade. I think the balk handle piece IS a handle for the saw attachment or the other attachment. A jig saw attachment and a circular saw attachment. All those pieces go with the Black and Decker, as a kit. If you separate them, and throw away parts, it will make the kit incomplete to the point of near uselessness.

A mystery computer for sure, it looks like an early 80's business computer. Most home computers were based on a single circuit board, so I'd rule them out.

Very interesting... have a look for the ID of the big chips and see what computer they were used in. The fact it had it's own built in keyboard, might make it more likely an electric typewriter with storage and screen. A dedicated unit that wasn't as flexible as a computer.

That's my guess.
