Japan's ruling party is set to hold a leadership election on Friday (Sep 27). By extension, the new leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will become the country's next prime minister. Whoever gets elevated to Japan's top post will be tasked to tackle a wide range of issues, including the country's gender gap. Seijiro Takeshita, professor of management and information at the University of Shizuoka, shares his thoughts on CNA's Asia First.
