I really love how much you emphasize the mental and emotional aspects of drawing. It makes sense, since creativity is more of a mental exercise than a physical/technical one, but I think almost everyone assumes that becoming proficient in drawing techniques and fundamentals is the sole way to improve in drawing when in reality, there are so many aspects to drawing which lie beneath the seemingly clear surface.
