If you have a fast receiver and 2 seconds in the pocket that’s a td every time. The safety takes a step to a receiver and gets caught if the recievers on a streak

You can lob the Fade or Slant route with immediate release or Wheel route the RB

Fade, stop & go, rb wheel, heck even possibly a post if your wr has higher speed and you let it develop. Or a corner leading your wr on his far shoulder and high, especially if your wr has route technician and/or acrobat.

If there's 1 RB and 1 WR with no TE there's no reason to do that. You should set 1 LB on the RB & double the WR if anything. This play will get your Safety burned ALOT

I do this all the time and didn’t know this was like some competitive tip because I don’t get into all that. I just like having that inside help when I think someone for a flat or a cross route

Outside shoulder fade ball to the fade route. Scissors only works if your opponent cant read coverage. Or send the RB on a streak from the backfield with a slant or crosser to occupy the MLB 🤷🏾‍♂️

The only thing I find success in taking away flat routs is hard flats from the cornerbacks. LB never get there in time. And high safeties will be there for the tackle but can give up several yards. I’ve never tried the scissor adjument tho.

I usually run a slat and put the running back on a wheel. Once they get past the line of scrimmage he’s wide open.
