Man, the first place you pinpointed, was sooo close to the town I work in!!I travel the A24 many times!!

Easy rule of thumbs for Portugal:

More mountainous / More green / darker Brown and More Granite / sparse houses everywhere / Pines Eucalipts and Oak trees = North Portugal
Central Portugal is a bit more mixed, if you see Schist constructions or walls, that is probably in central Portugal but can also be in the North in some places. Lots of eucalipts everywhere, but that also happens in the North.
Flatter / more barren / lighter colour / vast expanses with few houses / white houses / Sparsely forested with Cork trees = South Portugal
Very Green / Milk Cows everywhere with those flowers that you see on your left at 7:54s everywhere = Azores
Algarve reddish soil and those typical South europe houses near the beach.
Madeira i don't know a lot, but very mountainous near the Ocean is very likely to be madeira.

Just came across your channel today and got hooked, your knowledge is pretty good, so you have earned yourself a new subscriber. As a Portuguese person myself, I probably think you confused Salto in Uruguay with the one on the map, as I am probably sure 95% of the population wouldn't know it existed.
