Bought this since it's the only EV with a decent (>20cm) ground clearance in the price bracket. Was looking also at Model Y but I'm pretty sure I would end up getting stuck during winters on forest tracks. (Finland)

Don't think there is going to be a lot folk queuing at Subaru dealers with their deposit at the ready at £50K a pop

With the whole point about the driving display being mounted above the steering wheel instead of being and the complaint some people have about the wheel potentially obscuring it depending on your seating position - maybe this point isn't very well made, but how is that different from literally any other car? I'm quite tall and I have to duck my head slightly to see parts of the instrument display in my current car. It's not a huge inconvenience, it's just a natural result of not everyone being able to view the same display from the same position. Is this video saying they found the issue worse in this vehicle?

Most energy-saving SUV-type BEV ever according to WLTP rating (bz4x: 143wh/km)

Really glad the 50/50 went the way it did. Well done!

The charging point doesn't swap sides! The BZ4X also has a 10 year warranty

How can it be a major turing point for Subaru when the entry level price is £50k?! How many people can afford to spend that much on a car? You car reviewers seem to live in a different world!

👍. I like the review you do of the vehicles.

The top of the steering wheel in my Mini Cooper hatch also blocks me seeing the speedo completely no matter how I position it. Why isn’t it ever mentioned on cars with a traditional setup where it is also a problem and only ever on Peugeots and now Toyotas/Subarus?

Most new ev models now seem to come with very little choice, just with a few models that come with fixed sets of features. When I last bought a car, there was an almost bewildering choice of options. I was particularly struck by the twenty inch wheels on an SUV. The few people I know who have specified large alloys on new cars have wanted to change them very soon after meeting the Scottish Highland's third-world roads. How long will they last in off road use? It would seem that, if you order a specific model level, that's what you get. Perhaps I'm missing something and it's possible to specify one of these cars to your own requirements.

Most of the new EV manufacturers have lost touch with safety while driving. That anyone has to take eyes off the road to navigate through multiple screens to adjust anything is totally insane.

Why Is the driver’s digital display sat on top of the dash rather than In front

Indonesia has Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia. Similar principle to FT86-BRZ / BZ4X- Solterra.

We want an Impreza or BRZ in the UK. We this. Which would be ok for £25k to £30k ( full options at £30k ) but Oh dear 🤦‍♂️

£50k for less range, less boot space, less performance than competition. How does that even make sense? I would be surprised if they sell these even in the thousands in UK. Unless they have the cars in stock and available to deliver immediately as opposed to the normal wait of 12months

Model Y is only £5k more than this car has better range and access to tesla supercharger network.

These EVs make bo sense for the pricing.

Why does a steering wheel have to take up so much space? Why even have a steering wheel? Why not make your vehicle *"joy stick compatible"* ?

I think the "major turning point" will be in the wrong direction! As the BZ4X is being recalled for issues with the wheels falling off!! Add to that issue the £50, 000 starting price and I can't see too many people being thrilled to buy it. As well as that issue the Toyota charges up very slowly. Way worst than the current competition.
