Показать описание
COMSOL Multiphysics® contains functionality that enables you to quickly and easily convert 3D geometries into 2D models, namely by using work planes along with the Cross Section Geometry operation. This functionality is useful when you want to create a 2D geometry from a 3D geometry or when you are working with a 3D geometry that displays some type of symmetry. In this video, we go over a simple example to demonstrate how to use these geometry tools and features.

00 - Use Case: 3D, Axisymmetric Model
44 - Create Work Plane
56 - Use Cross Section Operation
46 - Prepare 3D Geometry
35 - Split Object
28 - Remove Half
06 - Extract 2D Cross Section
15 - Video Takeaways
