One of the biggest challenges beginners face when learning to fly a drone is learning the different classifications of airspace and what they mean. Knowing these classifications is incredibly important for passing the part 107 drone pilot exam and even more important when you begin flying your drone commercially. In this video, Sam breaks down the different airspace classifications, what each classification means, and how it relates to drone pilots in a way that a beginner can understand.

Great video! Not stuffy or boring! Straight to it with great and fluid explanations!

A small UA system may be eligible for one or more categories of operation over people as long as a Remote Pilot in Command cannot inadvertently switch between modes or configuration. What does that mean?

You are refencing MSL for the Class B, C and D but FAA references these different heights using AGL... Wish you'd confirm, clarify or correct...😏

hey bro...if you're gonna put a tutorial online, get your terms straight. you're completely confusing and getting wrong MSL and AGL. suggest you take the video down or correct it asap, otherwise you're leading folks astray and will cause them to flunk the FAA part 107 test.

Man, I just can’t believe how bad all the videos about airspace are! It’s like everyone is regurgitating the same incorrect YouTube info!
If you are going to train someone to take a test, get your info 100% correct or take it down until you get it right!

The Federal Gov refers to drones as UAS. People still using the term drone make it sound like an Unregulated toy. The FAA doesn't view ANYTHIN in the air as a toy.
Remember, the Fed Gov can Make breathable air Regulated if it will turn a Profit for the Politicians.
