My wife and I spent 5 months there, stuck during the height of COVID in 2020. We were house sitting for an Australian man in Sala Kamraeuk. It was such a surreal time to be there, we were some of the very few foreigners in town, and so many businesses were closed. We visited Angkor Wat and for two days we wandered the temples completely alone, not a soul in sight. Truly magical.

I think that the quietest out of the way place, would be the best place to live for me. I don't need flashy or a lot of convenience. Peace and quiet is what I need, even if means dirt roads and narrow lane ways I don't care.
