I have cystic fibrosis and fishing is my favorite activity. Unfortunetly my illnes drove me to the point where i am lucky if i go fishing once per year. The fact that you guys did this makes me happy and gives me hope i will get well and once again enjoy fishing like i did once!

This episode resurrected a 60 year old memory. When I was a kid and obsessed with fishing I read an identification guide, where the chapters of all the fish species began with an illustrated humorous coat of arms for each group - sunfish, pike, trout, etc. The coat of arms for catfish was a shield containing the frontal view of a catfish face (just like your video shot) beneath which was a scroll with the motto “Any damn fool knows a catfish”. Thanks so much for your videos. I only wish they were more frequent.

This is amazing I appreciate how carl chose cystic fibrosis, it’s not a very common illness and it makes me happy to carl supporting it my nephew has cystic fibrosis but he has the double gene I guess you could say so he is more worse off than others and this video is truly heart touching, thank you carl and Alex
