In this tutorial we will learn how to use the 24 channel servo controller. Thus, we will be able to control 24 servo motors. This servo motor drive is compatible with the Arduino. With this drive you can easily make many projects like robot arm and hexapod robot. This servo drive can be used with Arduino or without Arduino. With a simulation software or the Arduino IDE you can control this servo drive alone.

I have a few questions about the servo controller board. I hope somebody might know:

A hexapod robot, for example 3 legs with 3 servos each makes 9 servos running simultaneously for normal walking, each at 0.5A to 0.9A for a total of about up to ~8A for basic walking.
Is there a maximum current that can be drawn by the servos through the controller board?
In other words, can I safely power all the servos through the board with a say an 8A DC power supply to handle the highest load?

If anybody can help, I'd appreciate it, as there are a million videos and guides on how to use Arduino boards and breadboards and shields and battery packs and this and that, but very little clear information on powering multiple servos sufficiently with a DC power supply.
