This humble African man re-defined an entire industry and restored everyone's faith in mainstream fashion. We are lucky to have you Mr. Enninful.

What Edward did at British Vogue is the most iconic showdown of magazine editorial history. I loved that he stayed true to his vision and didn't let the gatekeepers stand in the way of bringing change to life at British Vogue. The numbers didn't lie either. His magazine covers were selling more than American Vogue editor Anna Wintour and if you go month to month, you absolutely understand why the cover stories pulled in more sales. The artist direction was obviously miles ahead. I still remember trying to get my hands on his most viral British vogue covers magazine in America, and they were sold out EVERYWHERE!

Steven is good at creating an atmosphere where the interview leaves you feeling as though you have tapped into another side of the human aspect that makes them tick, and enables us to relate to and see parts of ourselves in them.

This podcast and format just works. Please don't change a good thing.

"I just knew [that] my family wouldn't get me there, work would get me there." That's the story of my life. Those words resonated deeply with me.

Hi, Steven. I really love this podcast and work you are doing. I am from Ukraine, i was watching this episode with Edward under russian missiles that destroy the people and cities of Ukraine and this episode give me the feeling of comfort and joy that i even forget about missiles above my head. So it`s literally saving my mental state. You are so inspiring persons for me, i want to thank you, Edward and British people for supporting my country. With love from Kyiv ❤

It’s really beautiful to see another side of him besides all the glamour in the fashion industry. Being a fashion stylist in Ghana and seeing someone like me break boundaries globally pushes me to keep fighting for what I love.
Great man Edward!

Read his memoir end of last year and was hoping you would invite Edward onto the podcast. Incredibly heart wrenching and beautiful story ❤

I'm not into buying memoirs, biographies, or autobiographies. But this!!!!? Definitely adding this to my library. @Steven, this is one of the best DOAC guest interviews I've watched. And I'm learning, from you, how to give space to others to express themselves, to process out loud. My 30 year-old daughter shared your channel with me and I haven't looked back. Keep up the great work! 💯💯💯💜💜💜

Edward is such a humble person. I love that you had to ask him in different ways, why he is so successful to get to an answer. He must be such an inspirational person to be around, and i love that he is representing Ghana, and diversity in the industry.

Hugely inspirational ❤can absolutely relate to the imposter syndrome thing - I'm working my way towards a career in music and the self-doubt definitely creeps in every now and then (or someone will say something to set it off). Then I watch something like this, or read a book or find inspiration somewhere to keep going! Or sometimes I just look back at how far I've come and take a moment to self reflect like Edward said. Anyway, I'm subscribed! Love your work and loving this interview (so far!)
