I bought two of the Alter Ego ND dupes and ended up having to give them to my daughters. Their eyeshadow formulas didn't jive well with my ultra sensitive eyes. The other thing I notice with Natasha Denona's eyeshadow formula is that it melts into the skin and looks better as the day wears on instead of the opposite with cheaper brands (eyeshadow wearing off and looking dull). This is why I would much rather pay the extra $$$ to get a higher quality product. It's worth it, especially if it will last several years. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!

Having 4 kids in college, I love dupe pallets because I can afford them and they do look identical. I also can't see myself paying $70 in a pallet. I will spend a little more on foundations though.

ND is worth the money because you get it done in much less time, and it stays all day without creasing. This all said, I’ve never tried alter ego. Love the travel with the dupe palette idea though.

I'm a fan of dupe palettes because I feel like they are playing to totally different audiences because I would never pay the Natasha prices so I'm not even their customer so they aren't losing a sale to Alter Ego. I just ordered this and another one yesterday.

I have one Alter Ego palette (the one that dupes Glam), and it might look like it, but the quality definitely sets the real thing apart. I appreciate the evaluation of the dupes in formulas and wear. I splurge ever now and then on a really good quality palette and dupe videos help me decide which splurge I want to make. I like a lot of the ND palettes, but can only afford one ND. If there is a good dupe for one, then I can possibly get one of the other ND that I like and get the dupe for this one. Thanks so much for sharing your opinions on how they blend and how the formulas feel!

I own 0 ND pallettes and I own several AE pallettes. For me, it is because I see so much coverage of the AE releases- so many beautiful looks are created- that is what really entices me to buy them. I don't really care that they have duped another pallette. I do care that the quality is very good for the price. Thanks for a great video!
