Rico's been the undisputed champ without losing for 10 years precisely because he doesn't engage in stupid/risky trades with low skilled fighters. The moment you start trading blow for blows, it's the moment a less skilled fighter can get a lucky strike in and take your legacy. Either way, Rico's best fights are the ones where he's pushed. Reason they hug so much is because nabal wants to stay close and doesnt want rico to get distance because then it is free shots for rico and at the same time rico doesnt want fight nabal close distance because nabal is shorter so basically nabal starts hugging when he feels rico tries to get distance and rico starts hugging when nabal closes the distance
