Overbalanced wheel with corner-shaped weights

Perpetual motion machine ideas
The Overbalanced wheel with corner-shaped weights works because of the right side of the wheel is always heavier than the left side.
This perpetual motion machine uses the same platform as a previous one. Corner-shaped weights work even better.

It's an interesting kinetic sculpture. Nothing more. I would like to see how you are powering it.

Very convincing, and I was going to ask for a plan to build one myself, and then the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics came to mind and I realised that, very cleverly, you have a concealed motor of some sort to inject energy into the system. Very convincing!

Nice! You can’t see the real power - well done! A perfect hidden motor construction…

I built one exactly like this one. It started spinning and has never stopped. And that was in 1922! I use it to power my hamster.

Great working model. Just one thought--if it really was an over-balanced wheel, it wouldn't require a push start. :)

Nice hidden electromotor under the stand!

They should also show the motor which moves that wheel. Just to be honest

Overbalance wheel models are just a fantasy

For every one person who praises your efforts there is always hundreds ready to put you down. Good job Veproject1, I like how you have solved the 2 main problems to enhance the over balance. I might just 3D print a model of this.

Pretty cool, that seems like it could have lots of possibilities. And it such a pimple design, genius!

These perpetual motion videos are so short, that explains if they go a little longer, theyll come to a stop

I definitely would like to have my 2:20 back now . Please

Try using repelling magnets at the points of contact so there is no friction. Also use or make a magnetic bearing at the centre.

Now deconstruct it without any camera cuts to show the motor that's in the little box

The thing is that this wheel is not overbalanced at all. If you stop the video randomly and count the weights at the left of the wheel against the weights on the right you will see why: it is 5 on the left vs 3 on the right most of the time...
So a greater leverage gets compensated by a bigger weight on the opposite site: it is the same old story all over again!

If it didn't look like the wheel was meeting with resistance, I would be more convinced you had done it. The design does not seem bad, although I think there is often a problem with vertical wheels related to equal gain and loss of height. Still, if the protruding levers were effective for more mass over distance, I think it would work. Then again there is the regaining height of the lever problem which can be a bastard. In short, I still prefer my designs. There seem to be a lot of problems with vertical wheels, please tell me otherwise if I'm wrong.

I’m not educated in physics but seems pretty cool. Other comments referenced motors or water, maybe wind. The friction to overcome the gadgets to reposition the legs would have to be overcome as well as start. Am I way off?
