I would play any of these characters in a heartbeat.

At the end of the day I’d rather have players over-invested and over-keen than under-invested and under-keen.

I kind of seen all these fine folk before CR existed, when I was a teenager (the broody guy is 100% the Vampire DM from that group), and they invited me to play RPG, which I politely declined. Years later I met a guy in college, married him and now we play every weekend and occasionally watch CR. Oh, how the world turns...

I’m still hoping to play:
“Imagine Humans” a Dragonborn Band of Bards
“The A-Men” an all Cleric Party
“Dwayne the Rock Gnome” Rock Gnome Fighter
"Critical Swole" all Melee Party
"The Fungis" all Male Spore Druid Party

I lost it at the quick "wait, what was that?" in response to a player squeaking some homebrew in there😄 Perfect!

Not gonna lie, I’d def watch this campaign for the VERY interesting RP storytelling (and to observe the DM’s slow demise into an existential crisis with a re-evaluation of life decisions that led to actively seeking to run games for others.)

This grould could also be the - Flighty Nine! 🕊️

This skit is an amazing gift, Bob. Well done. Love this.

Bonus: An all mousefolk party - Squeaks Machina

I’ve definitely had players that have no experience with dnd other than critical role, these people have been more fun and patient than anyone else at my table. I love crit fans and the positivity they’ve brought to our campaigns.

As a new DM, this was my biggest fear starting a campaign for newbies, as their only DnD knowledge was based on CR. Thankfully, only half the party is like this.

A group of three flying PCs that want to wear mechanical suits that will take away their ability to fly?

I'll allow it.

Hee~ Funny skit c: Ironically enough, I actually like to play with newbies who got brought into game by Critical Role. In my experience, they often come with better knowledge of rules than one would expect from a complete newbie, they at least attempt to act and play their characters, and their character stories are more elaborate than that of archetypical Dorf the Barbarian, who likes me axe and hitting things.

Punchline got me.

On a related note, while I was interested in D&D before, Critical Role campaign 2 is what really got me into D&D proper and I was able to start my first actual game (one attempt before failed because of transportation issues after a few sessions ;-;) somewhat recently and I've been having quite some fun. I feel very familiar with the rules after watching so many hours of D&D (and googling while the video plays to check the spells they cast and the rules they reference). I think I've got the most involved character of the group I'm playing with, but it's not so extreme that it makes itself a visible divide, and it's a fun character with just two secrets, one major and one minor, that are gradually being revealed and will probably be out by session 10.

1. This is very accurate.
2. This sort of thing is outrageous.
3. I love it so much. :D

Gonna be honest, ignoring the obvious ripping off of Percy, That wizard-warlock idea actually sounds really cool
