this should be incorporated into a five mintute full piece. it seems like its just a short thought as it stands

I love this piece, and I see that the Euphonium is used as a an octave double to the tuba, but it's still a bit saddening that it gets overlooked.

Sounds like this was intended for a military style band. The ones from East Texas; they play a short but effective fanfare at the beginning and end of their drill and this is exactly what this reminds me of!

haha poor woodwinds. they get 7-uplets for which they have to practice HOURS to get proper, but in the end they're still only mere icing on the cake, never the star of the piece. no wonder woodwinds hate us brass (and trumpets in particular) :P

Lovely arrangement, but can't really compare to the Army Herald Trumpets. Still wonderful though
