I am the father of a asperger's child. He was recently charged with the felony at his school "party to a crime Reckless endangerment" for something someone else did when he wasn't there.

The school didn't have funding for a place when the autistic kids needed a break so they let them roam the hallways. No supervision. They had cameras but no one looked until it happened a second time, A week later. When someone got hurt.

Up until 8th grade we worked with the school everyday and would go there to help with our child. 9th grade they didn't offer these programs they just let the police have them. Aspergers is a behavioral issue that police are not trained to deal with. The amount of tickets written out to these children each year is phenomenal.

No one saw it valid that when this prank was done the 1st time it was reported and nothing was ever done, even though it was done right under a camera and no one was hurt yet. A week later it was done again and someone did get hurt. I felt helpless because we worked so hard with him to keep him on track, and the school felt his type of mind was a nuisance to their budget.

His school is highly motivated to expel the kids who don't plan for a 4 year college, because they received Kickbacks from the ones who do. Every year autism increases and they just don't want to fund the programs. They are even under investigation by the school district that they send the kids to after expulsion.

After the 1st ticket, I instructed my child since there was no program he was not allowed to talk to the police without me present. This really angered both the principal and the school resources officer. I told them I would talk with the other parents and get to the bottom of it because I didn't want them to lie and get the truth right away and be back in the morning with them. The officer wrote in the report that I said it was better to lie. But he used the wrong dad's name.

It didn't help that the judge's daughter knew the person that was hurt. One hand washes the other in our community. Usually for the better of making a dollar or giving a sentence.

I fought hard for my child's rights with the school, the police, also pissed off the judge. But I'd do it again in a heart beat because these children have no more rights in the school system. I try to educate as many people as I can but they'd never listen until it happens to them and their children.

Kids for Cash wasn't meant to show that judges are corrupt, it was done to show our nation that government officials is held accountable for such behavior. This same behavior happens when our children is taken by DHS agencies nationwide when this is overlooked and used. While DHS agencies and state's throughout this Nation is getting money for same behavior that judges are now being looked upon as behaving. I was there in Pennsylvania when this story aired which was at same time that State of Pennsylvania was getting money from federal government to take care of my children, which should've never been taken in the first place. When they know this, because I was a fool and asked State of Pennsylvania for help to get my children back, and thereafter this story aired. This country is all about greed, what's the difference?

This is a huge problem. I'm going through this with my daughter right now and it's destroying my life and hers. I'm doing research on this and getting what facts I can. I'm in Texas. I need help. There's this silent group of people that suffer along with their families. There is no jury no due process and the laws regarding juveniles in Texas and several other states that take the family down with them. My daughter suffers from mental illness and right now she's a very long way from home for "rehabilitation"but she sounds worse than ever. Ours is a scary and complicated situation. If anyone can offer insight into steps that could be taken and making this issue largely aware in this country's eyes. We gotta do something.

Just go to 2:20 and you will see WHY that girl got into trouble. Her dad looks like Jeff Spicoli from Fast Times At Ridgemont High, and is most likely a pothead just like Spicoli.

Taking money for this is wrong and those kids setting years in detention is horrible but I do think courts and schools need to crack down on some of these kids I agree with the judge so many parents suck they all want to coddle their kids I intead of punishing them
