TAMBAYANG O.K. IS IN THE MANILA ISLAMIC CEMETERY AND CULTURAL HALL WITH THE PERMISSON OF OFFICE OF THE MAYOR - MANILA MUSLIM AFFAIR
Tambayang O.K. was given the chance to visit and take a snap of the entire project of the Office Of The Mayor - Manila Muslim Affair on the first ever Manila Islamic Cemetery and Cultural Hall.
One of the main objectives of the project is to recognize the great contributions of Muslims in the city, even before the colonization. Where Rajahs and Sultan governed the place before the establishment of city government. Also for the new Muslim generation can still be connected to the history of their ancestors.
"Ang pagtatayo ng Manila Islamic Cemetery ay iniaalay ng kasalukuyang henerasyon sa mga ninuno naming Muslim dito sa lungsod. Ito'y simpleng tanda ng pag-alala kung sino talaga kami. May we all be reminded of the continuing existence and sense of belonging sa ating mga kabataan, para mabura ang bias, so that we can erase biases and prejudice.
