Liberia's capital Monrovia is home to a quarter of the country's population. One-time Miss Liberia Patrice Juah shows us around her city.
Patrice Juah is a Mandela Washington Fellow of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), a writer, poet, entrepreneur, broadcaster and communications strategist. Miss Liberia 2006 advocates for the education of girls and addresses global audiences, is dedicated to changing the image of her country abroad.

Wow how beautifull monrovia today, i was once deployed to liberia as philippines contingent of the United Nation mission in Liberia in order to restore peace to this country.. i thank God that peace and harmony were brought back.... i was here in monrovia city July 2002 to May
