Is the solution to climate change in soil? Industrial farming and intensive animal grazing have led to soil degradation, erosion, and desertification. What if, instead, small-scale agriculture could feed the world whilst also allowing biodiversity to thrive?

In this second episode of our video series on regenerative agriculture, we share how soil management practices like crop rotation, Allan Savory’s rotational animal grazing, and agroforestry all influence soil fertility and food production -- and whether these regenerative farming methods can be scaled and reverse climate change.

I LOVE that Ecosia has adapted regenerative agriculture as an approach to solving the world’s climate issues. As someone who can only afford at the moment a balcony garden, I desperately yearn for the day I can get my hands on some land so that I can begin exploring restoring the ground and increase its biodiversity potential.
