Daniel Bryan addresses his injury: Raw, May 12, 2014

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan shares some unfortunate news with the WWE Universe.

It's great to see a true technician like Bryan Danielson has made it this far in the major "wrestling" business. He reached the top and deserved to become WWE Champion. Even through this underdog storyline for almost a year, he's had a lot of bad luck. He lost his dog, father, and great friend Connor Michalek. He's had multiple injuries like a concussion in January and now a neck injury. Recover soon because without you and CM Punk, WWE won't be the same.

I don't know if he's really hurt or if he's taking time off cause of his dad's passing but I'm going to miss seeing that little bearded devil tear it up in the ring. Either way, get better soon D-Bry. And if you get to keep the title, please come back with just one belt (please let it be the Undisputed Title from 2002 or a brand new belt)

Is it just me or is WWE trying to re-create the drama of Edge back when he announced his injury ?

wwe needs to split the title into 2 again and separate the brands with a roster for each one, that way different guys will get title shots and reigns instead of the same 5 or 6 guys.

Some people were actually booing. Wow. They supposedly wanted a change for such a long time, WWE made arguably the best indie wrestler in recent memory their world champion at the 30th anniversary of WrestleMania, and these guys are still not happy. Today's fans are just pathetic.

ever noticed how this is his first time taking time off due to injury? Every since this dude joined WWE, he was always there and now that he finally won the big one, his neck gives up. It's actually so sad.. I hope he gets well soon and I also hope they won't take the titles away from him.

I'm glad the yes movement is slowly coming to an end. It will never end of course, such a huge thing, but at least won't be a regular thing. And for more that I want Bryan to have luck on the surgery and come back better than ever I need to say it's good for him to stay away now, it may refresh things.
