How Trophies Are Changing For PS4 and PS5

As PlayStation 5 draws near, some enhancements are coming to PlayStation's trophy system. We explain how the new trophy level scale to 999 works, what your new level might be, and how trophies will appear on PS5.

I hope they add a trophy tracker system like Xbox has. Certain trophies like for example, completing 50 Hive missions in Avengers souqld be way less of a grind if I knew how many I've done already

Grind trophies need a counter for progress. Also a free theme or an avatar for a plat would be awesome!

I would love them to do things like giving you avatars or themes for getting platinum's, this has been done by some games like bloodborne and persona 5 royal.

I really don't like this change. I used to be higher level than someone I know who has a couple of hundred 100%-ed games less than me, now I'm lower level. This just valued super easy games with platinums even more, while showing the finger to any game without a platinum, which I've personally 100% over 200 of.

Furthermore, it doesn't fix any actual issue, just introduced a new one. The new level cap is already capping legitimate players, and it undervalues already undervalued games, and values the too easy ones, which is somewhat ruining the trophy community, even more.

Im very surprised more people aren't upset about this. I went from a level 29, a number that I can easily remember, to 400 something. I worked for that number, just for them to give me a new one that makes me feel like nothing. They ruined it for me.

Kinda funny that you started with dead space. That was my first platinum way back in 2008 damn times flies!
