Hydrogen composite pressure vessel burst testing

To enable a clean energy transition, our Capability Development programme has successfully completed burst testing of a 4L, 700 bar hydrogen composite pressure vessel.

The tank was tested at the National Composites Centre, failing at a pressure above 1750 bar, within 5% of predictions. We've also started testing a similar tank in fatigue, with promising results.
