In our ongoing comprehensive study of various kinds of adverbs, it’s time for Adverbs of Time, which are associated with the question word WHEN. Some most commonly used Adverbs of Time are today, tomorrow, yesterday, tonight, hourly, nightly, daily (every day), weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, annually/yearly, already, recently, lately, now, then, previously, ago, before, since, still, till, yet, early, soon, late, first, last, next, finally, eventually, just, long, no longer/not any longer, etc. In this lesson, we will learn about various kinds of adverbs of time and understand how these primarily answer three questions for us:
1. When does an action or event happen?
2. For how long does it happen?
3. How often does it happen?
